We, Elysium Fishing Lodge, operate on Classified (Skeena 2) and Non-Classified waterways guaranteeing that whether you’re a bait caster, spinster, or fly fisherman, you’ll catch the experience of a lifetime.
We are situated 13 km south of Terrace Airport (YXT), conveniently accessible within a seven-minute drive. and 30 km to Kitimat, a 30-minute drive - and only 22k to the Fisherman's Park boat launch.
Our small-scale bookings are purposely designed for your customer experience. We aim to introduce a slow-paced, rewarding way of fishing that provides a chance for you to rest and renew as well as sustain and regenerate the environment for now and future generations.
While the Lower Skeena is particularly celebrated for its colossal Steelhead and Chinook Salmon, it also offers exceptional seasonal fishing opportunities for Coho, Sockeye, and Pink Salmon. Coastal cutthroat, Dolly Varden, Rainbow, and Bull Trout are also available in substantial numbers throughout the year.
For those seeking an even more immersive salmon experience, a 35km stretch south of our farm lies the Kitimat River that offers a non-motorized river experience. The Kitimat River is home to five species of Pacific Salmon and Steelhead, including Chinooks, Sockeye, Pinks, Chum, and Coho. These world-class salmon species are available year-round, providing anglers with an exceptional opportunity to catch these magnificent creatures.
